"We are sixteen moms fighting cancer. Some of us have been in remission for years; others are newly diagnosed, or battling a new recurrence. All of us have something to say."
I don't know about you, but I've been touched by breast cancer in my immediate family, and in friendships. One of my friends, who, though I haven't MIRL is a true and special and "lifer" friend, is Jenster. She has her own bloggy, but writes for this one, as well. Whether you are in the fight directly or indirectly against this beast called cancer, I know you will be touched and encouraged by a visit to this blog. I would venture to say that no one would have chosen to belong in this group, but all are alive and willing to share the journey so that they and others won't feel so alone. Click on the title of this post if you'd like to go give them a shout out. They are also in my sidebar.
Brava, my sisters. Godspeed.
