1. Glad that gLee returns to television tonight! Superifically glad that Army Wives started back last Sunday night.
2. Glad that I own the Star Trek movie. By watching in my bedroom on Monday afternoon, I was able to clean out my closet and dresser, and try on (not glad about the trying on) summer clothes. Was able to take two bags to Value Village. My closet should remain clean b/c there's nothing left in it. :)
3. Glad that my dtr starts track this week. She's excited, and I think the exercise will make her feel better about herself, and just plain better overall. It's hard to be a tweenager.
4. Glad for finishing my Daniel SAFARI. What a terrific study. I learned probably more than I even think I did, and had such a great time hearing others' points of view. I'm also secretly proud of myself for following through--only because that is such a weakness of mine.
5. Speaking of following through...I'm behind on my Bible-in-a-year readings. BUT...I'm slowly crawling out of the hole. Trying to focus on each word, rather than "catching up". Lurved Deuteronomy. Feels like the Cliffs Notes of the Pentateuch.
6. Glad for sweet friends' texts, phone calls, and prayers this past week.
7. Glad that my son is writing his sci-fi book plot-starts. I swear...it DRIVES ME CRAZY that he doesn't like to write much. Can you say, "light under a bush"? Whenever we're talking, he lists a jillion different plausible plot lines. So, I'm doing what every mean mother does: I'm making him write in his "novel" at least 15 min every day. It's sooo good. Who knows? Maybe God will open a door.
8. Glad my daughter cleaned her room. Amazed that she did it WITHOUT being asked. Woot.
9. Gladdisimusly glad that my friend Amber is getting older over the weekend. Alas, I'll always be older, but she likes to celebrate her special day as much as I like to celebrate mine. I think we're both 5 years old in our hearts.
10. Glad that Christmas is only 256 days away! Maybe if I start now, I'll actually have a homemade gift or two ready to give before the New Year. I really want to make one of these, in my own style, of course. My mom made me one, and it's about trashed. I want my kids to have one to pass down. Oh, dear. Guess I have to make 2.
So...what sayeth ye? What maketh you glad today?

You my friend, make me glad. I love you.
Glee starts tonight!!!!!!
I have to teach bible study tonight (its our last night!) but don't you know I'll be TiVOing it and watching it first thing tomorrow.
256 days until Christmas!?!? Girl, you are far too organized!
I was big on birthdays until 40, and now I think I'll just stop having them.
Having a friend (you) with a grateful attitude makes me glad. And being on springbreak. in the NC mountains.
Woo hoo, Glee!!! I wish we could all the computer friends could pile up on comfy couches and watch it together!!
This weather makes me Gladdy McGaderstone von Glad. I love the sunshine and the spring breeze.
I'm glad I'm going on a trip this week. YAY! I love to fly places on airplanes (as opposed to flying how exactly, whimz?). I try to pretend like I fly all the time so I won't appear to be the super excited uber geek that I am.
I'm glad you remind me to be glad. Just one of the many things I like about you, friend!
Glee!! Glee!!! Glee!!!
I've hardly been able to contain my excitement. The children already know that tonight is sacred, and they have been heavily warned that if they even enter my room during that blessed time, that their lives will never be the same.
:)
My daughter hated track the first week, the next week it wasn't so hateful but she still wanted to quit. Now? She loves it! I am so glad I was the mean Mom and made her keep going!
There is some encouragement for you to keep being the mean Mom, k!
Ok, and are you ready for my galdi for the day?.....
My husband asked me for a Bible this morning! He said that he was watching TV last night (must have been a christian channel ?) and he heard someone say that God's word does no good on the pages, you need to get them in you, if you want to see any kind of change in your life.
I know this is nothing new he has heard, but his heart must have been finally ready to hear it.
keep you posted!
Thanks for your prayers, they make me feel a special kind of glad today!

Luuurve that you are such an awesome cheerleader mom, helping your son in his goal of writing a fantabulous novel, and encouraging your daughter in athletics. They'll both thank you later!
Love your GlatiTudes, friend!
Can I just tell you how GLAD I would be if my daughter(s) cleaned their room on their own. Right now it is B-A-D. And I am NOT giving in and doing it for them this time. And it's killing me. I have to just shut. the. door.
I love Glee. Just reading that line made me glad.
I fell asleep during Star Trek. Can we still be friends?
